This proves my theory that Microsoft is truly the king of the closed loop in their system.  Instead of embracing the free market, they just try to create closed loops where others can’t play.  Case in point, the Microsoft Commons, where ‘softies can eat, shop and get a haircut, right on the MS campus in Redmond, WA.  No need to leave the empire while shopping, eating or personal care. ...
